    DEFRA large logo

Please see the below announcement from DEFRA:

"To help you prepare for the 1st January we are providing some important information about what system you will need to use for consignments coming into and out of Great Britain. This is for plants and plant products including when and how the system will be phased in.

The IT system used to facilitate the pre-notification of imports of plants and plant products will be changing, moving from the current PEACH system to Import of Products, Animals, Food and Feed System (IPAFFS).

The system to apply for export plant phytosanitary certificates will also be changing, moving from the current eDomero system to a new export service based on the same technology called Exports Health Certificate Online (EHC Online).

    Important dates to remember

To manage the volume of changes that you will be experiencing, it is our intention to provide a phased introduction of IPAFFS and a plant based EHC Online in early 2021 after the 1st January 2021.

Here’s what you should expect to use, and when:

    Date

    Plant and Plant Product Systems

    IMPORTS

    EXPORTS

    1st January 2021

    PEACH

    eDomero

    February 2021

    (specific date tbc)

    IPAFFS

    Plant based EHC Online

Traders using the existing PEACH and eDomero system should continue to do so until we direct you to register and use the new service.

The timing and sequencing of this migration will ensure a smooth and orderly transfer between systems and will allow sufficient time for you to become familiar with the new service.

If you are not already registered for PEACH and eDomero and will be trading in plants and plants products from the 1st January, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
