The future of cargo processing is here today
One of the primary aims of the Destin8 Port Community System is to facilitate the re-use of data from a single submission, in order to satisfy the requirements of UK legislation and other Governmental regulations.
Throughout the EU Exit Transition Period, a number of Destin8 changes were developed to remove anticipated and known barriers, improve the exchange of information between public and private organisations and promote operational cooperation to facilitate trade and increase frontier control efficiency as a result of the UK leaving the EU's Customs Union and Single Market on the 1 January 2021.
With effect from the 1 January 2021, one or more of these changes were integrated either as permanent or partial functionality within the Destin8 Port Community System and, more importantly, in line with the UK Government's Staged Customs Control (SCC) approach*. In that context, the following documents are aimed at providing extended guidance on areas specifically related to Destin8 as well as relative information from HM Revenue and Customs, Border Force and the Border and Protocol Delivery Group as applicable.
